Somewhere along the way…

This morning I showered, put on a pair of Crocs, got into my Passat and drove to work to retrieve my MacBook, which I carefully placed into my Timbuk2 bag. I then drove to Target where I bought a blender for the express purpose of making smoothies, and then to the grocery store where I bought organic brown rice and plain yogurt. While waiting in the checkout line I received a call on my Razr so I tapped my ear to have the bluetooth headset I was wearing pick up the call.
Somewhere along the way I became a yuppie. I don’t like this one bit, not one bit.

My friend’s reaction to seeing Crocs for the first time 2 years ago: I didn’t know Birkenstocks made Jellies.
I don’t care how comfy they are. Garden clogs should only be worn in the garden.
